CVS can keep a history file that tracks each use of the
release commands. You can
history to display this information in
Logging must be enabled by creating the file `$CVSROOT/CVSROOT/history'.
history uses `-f', `-l',
`-n', and `-p' in ways that conflict with the
normal use inside CVS (see section Common command options).
